Happy Solstice!!!

So if you're in the Northern Hemisphere you'll be sat in your t-shirt and shorts and sunning yourself and if you're with us in the Southern Hemisphere you'll be sat here in your t-shirt and shorts wondering why don't the bloody Kiwis have central heating???

Finally got our hands on a gas heater so we're spending our evenings toasting marshmallows and singing "Michael rowed his boat ashore ...". In fact it's just like a night around the BBQ at Kevin's - except the wine isn't as plentiful.

Just for Mazzie here's another photo of the hound. He's slowing settling in, letting every dog know he fancies a row and keeping a constant hungry look on his face. I'm finding out how hard it is to convince a 30Kg lump that he can't fight with every dog on the planet :o)

So to all you pagans out there, have a great solstice.

Positive thought of day: the evenings are going to get longer from here on ...

PS: I should mention how well the Irish rugby team did, after all we're only building their confidence to make sure we can land the sucker punch in the World Cup.
